Holy Week

Blessings All, It is here – Holy Week begins this Sunday with Palms and Passion. We will have a parade of Palms with the children as the early part of the service focuses on Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. There is a shift – into the Passion for the second part of the service as again – we will hear the dramatic reading of the passion. Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service will be in the Fellowship Hall – beginning at 7:00 in the evening on the 29th. the choir will gather at 6:00 to rehearse the two pieces they will sing that evening as well as the Easter music. The Watch Night Vigil begins at 8:00 on Thursday and goes through until 3:00 on Good Friday afternoon. The remaining time slot

Blessings All – as we continue to look toward Spring and Easter – will either one of them come – I trust with Faith they will As we look toward this Sunday – the scriptures are: Jeremiah 31:31-34 and John 12:20-33 with a sermon entitled: “Heart Fluency.” Get it? It is Flowers of Hope Sunday – with the church decorated with flowers purchased by you with all profits going to support Hospice Volunteer Services. Those who have ordered flowers may take them home following worship this Sunday. The Confirmation Class will meet after a quick bit of coffee and goodies. Busy Weekend

Blessings All, Abigail has set up things for this evenings Family Friday event (5:30 – 7:00 in the Fellowship Hall) If you can make it out and do so safely – please join in this time together. Please join us for a Family Friday Lenten meal and active prayer stations. Pray with color, sand, a finger labyrinth, clay, walking, words and more--there are many ways to be with God, and we will explore lots of them in this quiet time of the church year. We'll finish with a simple meal of lentil soup, bread, and ice cream. Sunday – is Communion Sunday and the texts for this Sunday are: Exodus 20:1-17 (the Ten Commandments) and John 2:13-22 (The Cleansing of the Temple). The message is entitled: “
