Blessings Church Family, This Sunday is Communion Sunday and Crop Walk Sunday and Worship Sunday all wrapped up in one day. The scriptures are: 2 Timothy 1:1-7 and Luke 17:5-6 with a Message entitled: “Come As You Are.” How would you answer the following question: “I would like more _______” Communion will be offered this Sunday This is Crop Walk Sunday and we will have a part of the service focused on dedication the walkers and the walk to fight hunger locally and around the world. Blessings to you all, One big thank you to Lisa Bessette for leading worship I was away this past Sunday. What wonderfully gifted people we have. Thank you Lisa Tomorrow, Saturday, we will be honoring the life of Anna Booska-Botsford. The service for her will begin at 1:00 here at the church followed by a reception downstairs. Anna gifted us with a portion of her life as she was part of our church for a number of years. She was 33 years old. Please hold her husband Shawn, her son Tyler and her family and friends including many in our church in prayer. On Sunday the CHOIR will be back to add to our worship experience. Peace and Joy to you all, I will be away from the office from this morning (Friday) through Tuesday, returning on Wednesday morning. Lisa Bessette will be leading worship with a message entitled “Wealth.” The scriptures will be: 1 Timothy 2:1-7 and Luke 16:1-13. This Sunday will be the first Sunday for choir practice beginning at 8:30 upstairs in the Manse. Crop Walk is coming up – October 2nd. Blessings to you all, This weekend will be another full weekend in the life of our church and its ministries. Tomorrow (Saturday) we will hold our third annual Food For Fuel event (this year we are adding ‘More” to the title). We will be providing a FREE LUNCH to anyone stopping by the City Green between 11 and 1. We will have quilt raffles, guess the kisses in the jar – a 50-50 raffle as well as lawn games and all around fun times. We will also have mums for sale again this year. All proceeds will go toward supporting our 2017 local mission ministry of providing assistance to those in need such as fuel assistance, rent, electricity, medication, transportation etc. etc. Stop by and sha


Blessings to you all, This Sunday is Communion Sunday (our Deacons’ Fund which is carrying quite a bit of the effort to fund our expanded and expanding Christian Education program can use more financial support). The scriptures for Sunday are: Jeremiah 18:1-11 (the potters’ house) and Philemon (THE ENTIRE BOOK). If you want to read an entire book of the Bible – a good one to read is Philemon all 25 verses. Though relatively short it carries a message down through the centuries and even to us today.
