What do you see?

Blessings All, I hope everyone had a full-filling Thanksgiving – doing good stuff with good people. Just a quick update – Simon has improved and he and his family were home for Thanksgiving – a great big “thank you” for that. Tomorrow – Saturday – we will be remembering Gail Sheldon with a service for her beginning at 11:00 followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall. Sunday – we celebrate a baptism as Silas Richard Andrews – the son of Ben Andrews and Katie Willett will be baptized. The Scriptures for Sunday are: Ezekiel 34:11-16, 20-24 and Matthew 25:31-46. The sermon is entitled: What do you see? and it might have been entitled: What do you see with? This is the last Sunday in the

Celebrating Together

Blessings All, “On A Good Day” our lives celebrate God’s love for all of creation. This weekend – we will be extending God’s love into the world through the Table of Grace meal this evening. We have teams from our church cooking – setting up- serving and cleaning up. This community dinner (meatloaf) will be served from 5:30-6:30. If you are around stop by for a bite or two. Sunday promises to be another gift from God as we share a “Good Day” together. Our “Estimate of Giving” campaign has led to this coming Sunday. Skip Masback will be providing a Stewardship Moment – there will be an opportunity for all our church family to make a commitment of support for our church and its mission a

This Sunday Aimee will share some of her story. What a gift to learn more about those who are part of our faith community. The scriptures for Sunday are: Joshua 24:14-15 and Matthew 25:1-13 with a message entitled “Alternative Energy.” Where and how do you get your energy? What ener

Blessings to you all, This evening Abigail will be facilitating another Friday Family Fun Night including a meal provided by the Strum family. Tomorrow we gather to remember May Fay. The service begins at 1:00 followed by a committal service at Prospect cemetery followed by a reception in our Fellowship Hall. The choir will gather at noon and if you wish to add the gift of your voice to this ministry of music in honor of May – come on in. Just a quick reminder to anyone with excess candy following the semi-holy day of Halloween. The kids can being in their stash and adults can add what they have left over and we will fill a basket and send the goodies out to those who may need a bit of a
