Sunday is a coming
Blessings to you all,
Hopefully you received your “Stewardship Packet” in the mail this week as we are in the midst of this year’s Estimate of Giving campaign which will culminate in luncheon following worship on the 19th (Thanksgiving Sunday). This Sunday we will hear a “Stewardship Moment” from Aimee Goff. Last week Karin Hardy shared a bit of her story growing up in the midst of Nazi controlled Europe. This Sunday Aimee will share some of her story. What a gift to learn more about those who are part of our faith community. The scriptures for Sunday are: Joshua 24:14-15 and Matthew 25:1-13 with a message entitled “Alternative Energy.” Where and how do you get your energy? What energizes you?
Following worship and some coffee and goodies – Rich Strum will be providing a talk about the Reformation (which is 500 years and 10 days old – today). If you have not heard Rich – you are in for a treat. You can tell he loves history and has such a gift to relate the past in ways we can connect with it.
The Addison Association will meet at the Salisbury Church beginning at 12:30 for lunch and a business meeting and a program which also focuses on the Reformation.
See you on Sunday
In Peace – In Christ
