I hope and trust that your Christmas a good one with family and friends. I won’t make this message long – not wanting to take you away from your workout on the treadmill.
First of all – one huge thank you to all who made the Christmas Eve services so special. Mel and Jean Simmons again provided the scenes that allowed the children to sense the Christmas story up close and personal. Jenny was great – surprise surprise and Sue and Bill’s leadership of the choir which did great was wonderful while Cherie Vachon added her precious voice again in reading such a well-known and special story from scripture. The support of the Deacons and Mike’s work providing the bulletins and all who helped set things up and organize things – it is all JOY. Thank you.
Tomorrow our focus will be on Luke 2:41-52 with a message entitled: “Growing Season.” There will be an opportunity for people to pick a favorite Christmas hymn from the hymnal and we will join in singing together a number of “greatest hits.”
If you are shopping at Shaw’s just a reminder that the Mission Committee is collecting the stamps they are giving out so we can purchase some cutlery for families who may be in need.
Thank you and blessings as you return to the treadmill or elliptical machine.
