Palms and More
Blessings and Peace to you All,
This Sunday is the beginning of Holy Week and we will be celebrating Palm Sunday during the first part of the service with a Dramatic Reading of the Passion instead of the sermon for the second part of the service. This particular service incorporated the highs and the lows of the coming week leading to Easter. The next two Sundays would be excellent Sundays to invite friends to share in the story of this very pivotal and essential part of Jesus – his life – death and resurrection. EVERYONE NEEDS AN EASTER.
We still have time slots available during the Watch Night Vigil – if you want to participate in this personal, meaningful time – (8:00 pm on Thursday through 3:00 pm Friday) you can sign up on Sunday or let me know a few time options that would work for you and I will see if there is an opening that will fit.
Our Christian Education Transition Team has been meeting almost weekly and will be meeting this coming Tuesday to finalize a proposal to offer to the church leadership. They have posted on the bulletin board – the input about visions for the future. During coffee hour – please take some time to review what is there and feel free to add your input.
Mike O’Daniel will be putting together a CRACK team of COOKS for the Easter Breakfast. You can let him know if you are semi-able and willing to help out.
