Blessings to you all,
This coming Sunday will be COMMUNION SUNDAY. The main text we will focus on is from Ezekiel chapter 37:1-14 – “The Valley of Dry Bones.” One of the operative questions is asked within the verses: “Can these bones live?” We will connect a bit with John 11:1-45 which is the story of the “Raising of Lazarus.” The message is: “De-Separating.”
As it is Communion Sunday, the Deacons will be receiving a special offering in support of their ministry in our midst.
Easter Lily orders will be taken this Sunday by Denise Martin. You may contact her directly at email@example.com or call her at 453-3349. The lilies will decorate the church on Easter and you take them home following that worship service on the 16th.
Prices are: 7’' pot – $12 8” pot – $23 and 10” pot - $27
The Deacons will have the sign-up sheet this Sunday for the annual Watch Night Vigil. This is a very meaningful time as we rotate in and out of the sanctuary on a 1-hour time-slot basis from 8:00 pm on Maundy Thursday until 3:00 pm on Good Friday (19 time-slots).
I look forward to our connecting time on Sunday as we move toward Holy Week which begins on the 9th with Palms and Passion.
