Just a friendly pastoral reminder – Christmas is on Monday – that means – Christmas Eve is just before that again.
We have three services on Sunday and guess what – We are not taking names.
Our Sunday morning service (the 4th Sunday of Advent) will focus on 2 Samuel 7:1-11 and Luke 1:26-38 and 46b-55. The sermon is entitled: “Uncontained.”
Following that service we will be setting up for the 4:00 Family Candle Light Service featuring the sacred story enhanced by Mel and Jean Simmons’s marionettes.
The final service of the day will begin at 7:00. This service is a traditional service of lessons and carols and will feature the choir and readings by Cherie concluding as well with the candle lighting service.
Please hold travelers in prayer. Extend prayers to all who are not exactly where they would like to be this season.
I know there is a population shift of comings and goings – but if you find yourself in this area – I look forward to seeing you.
Peace in Christ
