Responding to our Neighbors' Needs


What a time we are living in! In the midst of learning to support each other remotely and worship online (more will be posted about that tomorrow), there are still many needs to respond to in our community. Please share the following information with your neighbors. Together we will find a way to grow though this challenging time.

The Vergennes Area Food Shelf is in need of donations.

They will be a food donation drop off at the Vergennes Police Station 9-12 daily.

These items are needed:

Mac and cheese - lots of it

Chicken noodle soup

Baked beans

pork n beans



Hamburger helper type meals

Any kind of noodles with sauces

Canned vegs especially peas and corn

Potatoes of any kind

Hand Soap

Toilet paper

Free meals for all:

Boys and Girls Club of Vergennes, as of March 18, 2020 is providing take-out meals OR meal delivery to ANYONE (kids through seniors) in their 5 town school district FREE.

This includes: Addison, Ferrisburgh, North Ferrisburgh, Panton, Vergennes, Waltham, and West Addison. You can pick up at the club at 20 Armory Lane, Vergennes. If you need delivery phone:870-7199 or use link below. This information is posted on their website:

Also the Addison County school district is providing bagged breakfast and lunch FREE to any child 18 and under starting Thursday March 19, 2020 Either pick up at set times at school or they will deliver to your bus stop!

They also will provide weekly pick up of groceries. For better details go to:
